• Iranian Potemkin Village at DNC

At Denver Civic Center, an exhibit called PICTURES OF YOU, a veritable Potemkin Village of how wonderful life is in Iran. Views from inside and outside Iranian propaganda tent.

The Stop War On Iran Campaign headquarters shares its headquarters address and phone number with Workers World Party, International Action Center, A.N.S.W.E.R. and other anti-American groups. For anyone who doesn’t know it, the so-called “anti-war” group International A.N.S.W.E.R. was formed by leaders of the Workers World Party (and mere days after the 911 attacks). WWP is a collection of pro-North Korea Stalinists based in New York City. When A.N.S.W.E.R. was eventually outed as a communist front, WWP started up a new “peace” group called Troops Out Now. Democrat chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, Charlie Rangel, actually gives speeches at their rallies.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

At the little propaganda table, seen here, I asked who funded this project. The young lady replied “I don’t know.” I said “How can you work for an organization that you don’t know where the funding comes from? Do you understand how brutally they treat women in Iran?” She replied “Well, you’ll have to talk to the artist. We’re not supposed to tell you who the donor is.” I said, “You just lied to me. You told me you didn’t know.” She repeated “The donor, we aren’t supposed to talk about the donor.” My friend, Red, queried the “artist” later in the day. He answered questions with questions and in our estimation is incapable of telling the truth. Example: “Who paid for this?” Answer: “Do you believe it’s impossible that I, as an artist, would go to Iran and spend all my own money to do this?”

 

The installation is high tech, with integrated structural aluminum, sound system, lighting, and monitoring cameras. The quality and type of printing on silk, semi-transparent photo reproduction is something that most professional photographers can only dream of being able to afford to produce. This was obviously produced by a team of structural engineers, electrical engineer,  high end printing experts, etc. and a huge budget. I do not believe for one moment that this is the work of a lone “artist”. I do not believe that the photos were taken by the “artist”. And here is why: 

 

As a photographer myself, for many years, I have studied carefully the greats and the not so greats. Different countries and different times produce different styles of photography. The photographs here show a very common style of middle eastern propagandists, governmental and non-governmental. To me it’s easily recognizable as a bureaucratic propaganda project. The photo above, of a man meditating with his shoes off indicate that it was taken at a mosque. It’s not acceptable for foreigners to raise a camera in a middle eastern mosque. It’s hard to believe that the images in the exhibit were taken by a young American hipster dude from Crested Butte, Colorado. Here is an example of his style; same photographer as the Iranian images? Not in my opinion.

 

 

This is an example of an all too common militant Jihadi style. The posing of children with machine guns. Note the actual slide has bombs hanging from the top of it. Wheee! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Early Tuesday afternoon, a herd of moonbats settled in near the Potemkin Village exhibit. 

 

Somehow, this degenerated later in the day to something that concerned the police.

 

I found this bizarre scene of police positioned between a large herd of moonbats and the Iranian exhibit.

 

Tourists were amazed.

Police were facing off with guys like this. 

 

 

 

These guys are standing straight across from the entrance to the exhibit, face to face with police. The same schools that taught him to insert apostrophes to indicate plurals, as in pant’s and bomb’s, taught him that America is the true evil in the world. 

 

The sight of an American State Capitol eclipsed by a pseudo mosque was rather disturbing.

 

The man who claims to be the “artist”. He refused to reveal the source of funding for the project.

 

Moonbat mania. The latest fad. Mullahs with nukes? Not a problem. Stoning women to death? Not a problem. Little girls in arranged marriages with strange old men? Not a problem. Brutalizing ethnic minorities? Not a problem. That’s what it takes to be a moonbat.
